Boulder Dash was the first part of Uphill Garden in the first episode of Takeshi's Castle.
The contestant must get straight across the hill to the other side to be able to continue on with the game. If they slip down to the bottom of the hill they lose, and are out.
To make things difficult, the guards throw rocks and logs down the hill to try and knock the contestants off their feet.
