General Shahkrit regularly gathers a volunteer army, sending them in to battle with the aim of rescuing Princess Woonsen - the love of his life, who has been kidnapped by the Shogun. He leads the contestants through the games and onto the final Show Down, in the hope that one of them will beat Shogun Takeshi and storm the castle.

Despite being a pretty rubbish ninja, Fern is under orders from the Shogun to follow General Shahkrit and report back to the castle with any information to help halt his attack. However; she usually ends up assisting Shahkrit and his army instead of hindering them!
As well as interviewing contestants after they've played the games; Fern secretly aids bad guys, cheering them on behind Shahkrit's back, and often acts as referee in Sumo Rings.

Plakung is General Shahkrit's assistant, helping lead the army of contestants through the games. He often interviews contestants the before and after the challenges.

AKA: Shogun Takeshi
Shogun Takeshi rules the castle and the surrounding city. He's not afraid of anyone, and will do everything in his power to get whatever he wants.

The Shogun sets up games as traps to stop General Shahkrit's army of contestants from getting any closer to his castle and freeing Princess Woonsen - who he has imprisoned.

Khom is the Shogun's right-hand man, and was the mastermind behind Princess Woonsen's kidnapping. Behind his intimidating appearance he is very sharp and surprisingly funny.

If Khom is the Shogun's right-hand man, then Bon is his left-hand man! He's loyal and will serve his boss to the best of his abilities. As such, Bon was a leading force behind the kidnapping of Princess Woonsen.

Princess Woonsen is the apple of General Shahkrit's eye, who was kidnapped by the Shogun and imprisioned in his castle. Although captive, she doesn't find life in the castle too bad!

These troops are the Shogun's personal group of guards. They run the games, aiming to impeed the progress of the contestants, before battling the survivers in the final Show Down.

Ood is the Samurai of Punishment! If contestants aren't successful enough in a game the losers will have to suffer one of his forfeits.

Before becoming a samurai, Ood first appeared as "Ted Flintstone".

Ay is the second Samurai of Punishment. He oversees some of the forfeits that contestants must undertake if they aren't successful enough in a game. Ay also acts as a referee in Sumo Rings, and was originally a contestant in the celebrity special.

One half of the Demon Duo, the No-Haired Demons are one of the Shogun's strongest guards. A No-Haired Demon will always be found lurking in the Honeycomb Maze, frightening any contestants that dare to enter.

The bigger half of the Demon Duo, the Flame-Haired Demon is one of the Shogun's most frightening guards. He'll usually be found in the Honeycomb Maze, but has also been spotted in Final Fall - without his red hair.

The Blue Demon lives down the Final Fall holes, along with his partner in crime - the Red Demon. Blue may look terrifying, but when he hears music play the only scary thing about him is his dancing.

The Red Demon lives down the Final Fall holes, along with his partner in crime - the Blue Demon. Red spends most of his time frightening contestants, but, in his spare time, he's also demon on the dancefloor.

Giant is the largest sumo wrestler in the Shogun's gang, playing in the red ring in Sumo Rings. He's a sore loser and always puts up a tough fight.

Pauline is one of the Shogun's top Sumo guards. She's a fierce fighter and often plays dirty to ensure that she beats her opponent. Any contestant unlucky enough to come up against her is in for a rough time.

Bruce is a Citrine Guard who makes regular appearances in Sumo Rings. He's not that strong, but he'll always put up a good fight - although it usually ends in injury for himself!

Nicknamed "Bean" because of his thin, weak-looking body; this guard is a push-over in Sumo Rings - literally! However, victory against him shouldn't be taken for granted, as his occasional wily moves may put a twist in the tale end of a fight.

Nicknamed "Spud", this is a guard dressed in a giant head costume; originally based on Japanese sumo wrester Yasokichi Konishiki. Wearing the costume makes it tough for the guard to get a grip on his opponents, making him is one of the easier guards to beat in Sumo Rings.
"Weawtar" means "Eyes" in Thai.

Maythavee is often found in various different guises - generally in Tug of War, taking the role of a cartoon villain. She has also appeared in Sumo Rings and acted as a distraction in the Honeycomb Maze.

Rather inaptly named; Ms. Sunshine isn't the most friendly of people, and is only concerned with two things - winning and appearance. Contestants won't get an easy ride.

Ursuli is a sea witch, originally appearing to be half-human, half-octopus; she had a makeover to look like her idol Beyoncé. Ursuli is a tough opponent to beat in a Tug of War battle due to her size and strength.

The most violent Sumo guard of them all. Simon always carries some sort of weapon and will use all his power and intimidation to ensure that he beats any contestant. A slightly more playful side of Simon has been known to make brief appearances - but not very often.

The youngest of the Shogun's Sumo guards. He may only be a child, but this mini-sumo isn't daunted by coming face-to-face with General Shahkrit's determined contestants.

Pong is the main voice-over of Takeshi's Castle Thailand. His original role was to simply narrate the show, but this was soon extended to providing full commentary over the games.

In episode 43 he began commentating 'live' from the Castle as a "Takeshi's News" reporter.
